Schneider Electric is seeking a

Senior Legal Counsel

with a minimum of

five years' experience

in

complex commercial contracting

and advising business clients in all areas of contracting, including disputes. This role is based in one of the following locations: Boston, MA; Dallas, TX; Raleigh, NC; or Nashville, TN. You will support multiple Schneider Electric business units, leveraging your expertise in drafting, analyzing, and negotiating a wide range of agreements—such as those related to equipment, hardware, software, SaaS, reseller partnerships, and services—across varying levels of scope and complexity. Key Responsibilities include:

Negotiating complex agreements related to equipment/hardware, software, SaaS, and services to support Schneider Electric's business, products, and customer projects; Providing strategic legal support and advice to internal business clients to proactively mitigate risks, identify policy concerns, and drive risk management; Offering pre-dispute advice and developing strategies to support the resolution of disputes with customers; Leading the development of contracting templates, best practices, clause libraries, and legal training for internal teams; Ensuring activities, policies, and transactions comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies; Engaging with management and stakeholders on legal risks and providing strategic guidance. Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school; Bar admission in at least one state; At least five years' experience in handling, drafting, and negotiating complex commercial agreements, including equipment, hardware, software, SaaS, reseller, and services; Experience advising business stakeholders and engaging with executives; Law firm or in-house counsel experience is valued; Strong negotiation, attention to detail, integrity, energy, and collaboration skills; Ability to translate complex legal advice into clear guidance; Interest in legal, technological, and business trends; Commitment to partnership and organizational goals; Understanding of technology and willingness to support legal projects involving technology; Openness to new challenges and responsibilities.
