What We Do
Simply put, we help save lives — and we’re proud to say we’ve been nationally recognized for how well we do it. We conduct and fund game-changing research. We educate the public to prevent medical issues and the need for transplants. We offer grief resources to donor families. Pioneer new facilities and protocols that improve the viability of organ and tissue donations. We provide affordable, temporary housing for transplant patients and their families. Partner with community organizations to drive donor registration. We meet with schools, clergy, and local leaders to share our cause and our message. We stop at nothing because we’re the kind of people who give everything.
The Position
As aTalent Business Partner, you will have responsibility for the full life cycle of recruiting. You will consult with leaders and members of the HR team on the labor market, recruiting strategy and best practices. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure, successfully handle competing priorities, foster an outstanding applicant experience, and empower hiring managers to make smart and timely hiring decisions. More than talent acquisition, theTalent Business Partnerhas a critical role in empowering and inspiring our employees, supporting the continual transformation of Mid-America Transplant as a leader in the industry, advancing our company’s inclusivity and culture work, and working with leaders to shape our organization’s success.
What You’ll Do
Manage the Employer Brand strategy, recruiting strategy and the execution for an average of 10 openings, from the initial research and planning phase, to sourcing and candidate identification, assessment, interviewing, offer, close, pre-boarding and orientation. Consult with leaders and work effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships across departments and operational areas. Maintain partnerships with hiring managers and leadership to influence recruiting strategies, ensure clarity in the recruitment process, eliminate barriers, drive efficiency, and push for results. Leverage sourcing methodologies to identify and acquire specialized talent across the skill set spectrum, with a keen focus on diverse talent pipelines and strategies. Execute strategies to positively impact diversity, equity and inclusion goals and communicate progress against goals to senior leaders. Build and maintain an outstanding candidate experience. Develop rapport with internal and external candidates and deliver a positive applicant experience through proactive, authentic communication and efficient process management. Follow and complete all the process requirements including dispositioning candidates and ensuring compliance with all policy and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of end-to-end talent acquisition experience including sourcing, attracting, diversity recruiting and selection talent Prior experience recruiting in a healthcare setting for clinical roles preferred The successful candidate must be able to successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks, metrics, and understand how to prioritize. Must be able to understand how to recruit passive candidates at all levels and develop closing strategies that seek matching fit and motivation rather than focusing on selling alone. Proven ability to build and execute pro-active sourcing strategies for hard to fill positions Experience consulting on and negotiating compensation packages Working knowledge of policies and procedures, including an understanding of legal and OFCCP recruiting requirements
