Senior Director, Mergers & Acquisitions

at Solstice Advanced Materials, you will drive growth through strategic mergers and acquisitions. Your responsibilities include identifying potential targets, conducting due diligence, negotiating deals, and integrating acquired companies into Solstice's operations. Your expertise in M&A, analytical skills, and ability to navigate complex environments will be crucial for success. You will work from our Morris Plains, NJ or Charlotte, NC locations on a hybrid schedule. This role impacts the organization's growth strategy, financial performance, risk management, valuation, due diligence, legal compliance, integration, stakeholder relations, market analysis, deal execution, post-merger performance, long-term strategy, and shareholder value. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders to develop strategic initiatives that include inorganic growth approaches; develop methodologies for target identification supporting strategic plans. Support market analysis and target identification; lead engagement and relationship development with potential targets. Lead pipeline development, origination, and outreach activities. Lead deal structuring, bid strategy, and negotiate transaction documents. Manage cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful M&A execution. Prepare and present business cases, financial models, and investment proposals for leadership approval. Support post-signing integration to ensure smooth transition of acquisitions. Work with leadership on portfolio evaluation aligned with company strategy. Manage M&A approval processes with executive teams and the Board. Must Haves 10+ years in corporate development, investment banking, or private equity. Proven success in leading complex M&A transactions. Strong leadership, financial, negotiation, and communication skills. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. We Value MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field. Experience in chemicals and materials. Bachelor's in finance, business, economics, engineering, or related fields. Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS. In October 2024, Honeywell announced the spin-off of our Advanced Materials business to become a standalone, publicly traded company. This role will be part of that future transaction.
