THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:
The Category Manager of Fresh, Frozen and Processed Meat will build plans around product, promotion, and placement to drive financial performance with suppliers to secure the most favorable terms, costs, products, and quality of goods.
You will develop a connection with the remote Alaskan communities they serve through in-community work experience to create customer centric business plans.
You will set the initial sales, gross profit, and inventory forecasts used in developing the final operating budget and develop plans to achieve annual budget.
BACKGROUND PROFILE:
Several years of category management, preferably with major suppliers and an understanding of procurement opportunities and challenges of operating in remote areas.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of rural Alaska is a plus.
Solid experience with MS Office Suite experience, including above-average knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Base salary based on experience, 30% bonus.
Robust benefit package including relocation assistance.
