Job Description Summary:
The Marketing Associate, Practice and Program Marketing position plays a pivotal role in marketing to the private client audiences that CA serves, including family offices, high-net-worth individuals, and private wealth clients. Reporting to the Senior Director, Practice and Program Marketing, this role is key in enhancing brand visibility, crafting content, building digital and email strategies, and fostering lead generation initiatives for the private client practice (targeting individuals/families/family offices with $200m+ investable assets). With the goal of reinforcing Cambridge Associates’ brand as a forward-thinking global investment leader, the Marketing Associate will be a key contributor to the private client-focused marketing and communications strategies.
This position requires significant collaboration with Global Client Solutions (GCS) colleagues, the broader marketing team, investment directors, and practice leadership. It requires strong project management, interpersonal and communications skills, analytical ability, and attention to detail. The associate will have exposure to all facets of marketing strategy including strategy development, market research, brand building, data and analytics processing, communications, and lead generation strategies.
Job Description:
Strategy and brand building : Understand CA’s private client target market and help to build actionable and effective marketing plans to reach potential private clients globally. Support the growth of CA’s private client business through thoughtful brand building and ongoing marketing support (in collaboration with senior marketing team and practice leaders)
Content creation : Collaborate with content marketing team to develop new/revised marketing content to be used by client solutions colleagues with prospective clients including brochures, overview factsheets, and thought leadership
Conference management : Coordinate and manage industry conference participation, which may include brand building opportunities, speaking roles for investment experts, hosted sales booths, external presentations, and hosted dinners
Email strategy and CRM management : Use Dynamics (CRM) marketing tool to build and send quarterly newsletter or other email campaigns as needed
Digital marketing support : Collaborate with program/digital marketing colleagues to execute programmatic and/or social campaigns to target the private client audience and ensure website speaks to private client audience
Event support : Support CA-hosted events for private clients as needed (copywriting, GCS/GIS outreach, key takeaways, review of event assets)
Content management and compliance regulation : Ensure all materials stay up to date in the content management system and adhere to brand standards. Maintain bios for private client leadership and senior investment directors as needed. Ensure all materials for an external audience are compliance reviewed and approved.
Reporting and measurement : Measure all marketing activities and campaigns through comprehensive data analysis, and report on the success/failure of all programs; make suggestions for improving effectiveness and reach. Curate relevant content in monthly content roundup for client solutions team.
Ad Hoc Projects : Support new marketing initiatives and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
BA/BS and 2-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the investment industry.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, which includes the ability to collaborate within your team as well as across the organization.
Very strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail; able to consistently produce high quality deliverables.
Ability to work on multiple projects and effectively prioritize responsibilities.
Experience working with MS office suite, Canva, Ceros, Dynamics (including Marketing Hub), Seismic, Hootsuite or other similar marketing design or automation tools
Basic understanding of capital markets and key investment terms
Internal candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience with the firm.
Must be eligible to work in the US without employer sponsorship.

86500
In addition to the listed salary range, this position is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus and a comprehensive, competitive benefits package. Actual placement within the stated salary range will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as internal equity.
