The Role The SAP S/4 Upgrade Data Archiving Architect will lead data management and archiving strategies for SAP S/4 Hana upgrades. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and optimizing data archiving solutions to ensure system performance, compliance, and cost efficiency. Responsibilities
Provide expert guidance to the archiving project team for successful implementation. Analyze existing SAP Archiving solutions to identify gaps with S/4 functionality. Assess and define new client requirements based on S/4 archiving changes, supporting workshops with clients. Design and modify SAP archiving objects for S/4 upgrade, including functional specifications and configurations. Qualifications
10+ years of experience with SAP ECC. 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA. 5+ years of experience with SAP ILM. Proficiency in SAP BASIS, database performance tuning, and storage optimization. Knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX) and compliance standards. Experience leading data archiving projects and managing stakeholder relationships. US Citizenship required; no dual citizenship. Preferred Skills
SAP S/4HANA certification. SAP ILM certification. Knowledge of SAP data archiving, ILM, ADK, and S/4HANA migration methodologies. Experience with cloud-based archiving solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP). Experience migrating from SAP ECC to S/4HANA archiving solutions. Familiarity with third-party archiving tools (OpenText, PBS, DataVard). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex data structures. Additional Information Compensation varies by location, with a base pay range of $108,400—$203,400 in specified states.
