Job Title: MES Software Developer (.NET, C#, Angular)
Lcoation: Charlotte, NC - Remote
Duration: 06+ Months
W2 Only - No Sponsorship required
Location: Remote, required to be within 1-2 hour commutable distance in one of the following Clinet office locations:
- Corning, NY
- Charlotte, NC
- Vineland, NJ
- Phoenix, AZ
- Hemlock, MI
- Hickory, NC
- Blacksburg, VA
- Keller, TX
- Boston, MA
• Schedule: M-F 8am - 5pm, no OT anticipated.
• Interview Process: One Hour Panel Video Interview
• Possibility of extension, based on demand.
• Travel: Up to 15% travel possible - based on project need.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic view and understanding of Siemens Opcenter Execution to lead design and development efforts across Client.
• Design, implement, and support manufacturing solutions in accordance to standard Client IT practices
• Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with Siemens Opcenter Execution modeling and development tools including Designer and Portal.
• Strong technical understanding and hands-on experience with various technical capabilities like .Net, Javascript, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.
• Engage with internal/external customers to analyze requirements from a business and systems perspective by interpreting business goals and objectives and translating them into technical solutions. Strong understanding of ERP, MES, shop floor controls and how they integrate to provide a complete solution to the plant.
• Ensure that MES work is completed on schedule and that impacts to manufacturing systems are thoroughly documented and communicated by serving as the MES lead on global projects.
• Create specifications for developers to use as direction for development.
Required Skills
• Education: BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field (minimum required)
• Experience developing in Siemens Opcenter Execution Designer and Portal. (2+ years desired)
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development
• 5+ years' experience using programming languages such as .NET, C#
• Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
• In-depth knowledge of source code management systems
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases
Desired Skills:
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Experience working in a Scrum/Agile team.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, facilitation and negotiation skills (including ability to "translate" between business and technology needs).
• Proven track record of implementing IT solutions that make meet business demands and are technically sound.
• Ability to continuously prioritize and multitask efficiently.
• Ability to influence decisions with critical thinking based upon experience and grasp of the strategic intent of the project.
• Experience with Angular development
