From initial assessment to customized aftercare, McLeod Centers provides compassionate support for our patients’ journey to recovery. We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team!

McLeod Centers for Wellbeing is currently searching for a

Full-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Counselor

to work at one of our eastern regional treatment locations: Concord, Gastonia, or Hickory.

Applicants must be fluent in Spanish and English and willing to pass a mandatory fluency test prior to employment.

How will you help us achieve our mission? You will:

Be at the forefront of crafting person-centered treatment plans for patients in all stages of recovery.

Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatments as necessary for optimal outcomes.

Lead individual and group counseling sessions to support patients and their families.

Connect patients with vital support services, such as medical evaluation, mental health, and social support.

Participate in clinical supervision sessions to foster your professional growth.

What are the qualifications needed for this role?

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field, paired with at least a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor-Intern Certification (CADC-I). A Master’s degree with a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS) or other relevant licensure is a plus.
