Job Title: Senior Plumbing Project Manager Location: Orange, CA Job Summary We are actively seeking a Senior Plumbing Project Manager to lead the execution of large-scale and technically complex commercial plumbing projects. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in mechanical systems and a strong track record of delivering multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with excellent team leadership, client management, and project delivery skills. Responsibilities Lead and manage the full lifecycle of multiple, large-scale commercial plumbing projects, from preconstruction through close-out. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and internal stakeholders. Provide high-level planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and profitable project execution. Oversee project scheduling, cost control, procurement, subcontractor management, and contract administration. Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, safety regulations, QA/QC standards, and client specifications. Drive collaboration between field operations, engineering, estimating, and executive leadership teams. Mentor junior project managers and field teams to develop talent and ensure project continuity. Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and risk assessments to proactively manage change orders, delays, and scope modifications. Represent the company in high-level client meetings, negotiations, and presentations. Provide insight into process improvement and contribute to company growth and strategy initiatives. Qualifications 8+ years of experience managing complex commercial plumbing projects, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership capacity. Strong background in mechanical contracting with deep knowledge of plumbing systems, installation practices, and commercial building codes. Proven track record of managing $5M+ projects across sectors such as healthcare, higher education, life sciences, or large commercial developments. Exceptional leadership, communication, and client management skills. Proficiency with project management platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar tools. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred. California C-36 Plumbing Contractor’s License or equivalent experience is a strong plus. Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
