Class A CDL Driver - $45/hr + Full Benefits

CDL Class A driver for long route/team driver to distribute research products in a professional, safe and cost-effective manner. Pay rate: $45/hour minimum This is a team driving and over the road position transporting loads across the West Coast; based out of Hayward, CA. Schedule : Thursday through Monday. Start times vary based on business needs. Driving: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday Off: Tuesday, Wednesday Preferred Skills: Electronic log (ELD) experience DOT knowledge Communicate professionally with leadership and warehouse teams Comfortable transporting animals and products Electric pallet jack operation Inclement weather driving Ability to organize and complete paperwork regularly Familiarity with using smartphone and Outlook for communication Reefer operation and troubleshooting Responsibilities: Provide efficient delivery and pickup of animals and other products Keep accurate records and ensure timely deliveries Run regular assigned route along with specialty runs, as necessary Produce courteous, professional customer service at all customer locations Team driving: Required Qualifications: At least 5 years CDL driving experience Successful completion of a motor vehicle driving record check Ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate in English *This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience. The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person's relevant experience and/or education level.
