We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our exceptional development team. In this role, you will develop innovative features for Apple’s next-generation products, focusing on wireless software and protocol development around IEEE 802.15.4 and Thread Mesh technology in the Home Automation space. Your contributions will significantly impact future Apple products. Minimum Qualifications

2+ years of experience developing network protocol stacks based on the OSI model. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Objective-C, and Swift. Experience with multithreaded programming and strong knowledge of Operating Systems. Experience with software involving user space and kernel space interactions. Experience in non-blocking, asynchronous interface coding. Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing middleware software in OS daemons and driver interactions. Home automation experience is advantageous. Knowledge of IoT protocols such as IEEE 802.15.4, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Z-Wave, WiFi, or Thread Mesh. Experience with open-source software projects. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams. Passion for product quality and attention to detail. Innovative problem-solving mindset and curiosity. At Apple, base pay is part of a comprehensive compensation package, with a range between $139,500 and $258,100, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
