School Psychologist
for the first half of the 2025-2026 school year. In this role, you will provide a range of essential psychological services to support the academic, social, and emotional development of preschool and elementary school students. This role involves working closely with students, families, teachers, and administrators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Location:
In-person OR hybrid (no remote opportunities available) Start Date:
August 11th, 2025 End Date:
November 10th, 2026 Schedule:
32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday Grade Levels:
Pre-K through Elementary (K-5) Caseload:
Up to 10 students Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional needs. Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies. Provide individual and group counseling to address students' mental health and behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success. Offer consultation and training to staff on strategies to enhance student well-being and learning. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students with special needs. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and mental health services. Qualifications: Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Professional Educator License in the state of Illinois with School Psychology endorsement. Experience working with preschool and elementary school students in an academic setting.
