Physical Therapy Specialist / Rehabilitation Expert
Location: El Indio, Texas
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Shifts
Make a Difference as a Physical Therapist in El Indio, TX (Hospital Setting)
Are you a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist ready to help patients regain strength, movement, and independence? We're seeking a dedicated PT to join our rehabilitation team in a hospital-based setting in El Indio, Texas , where your expertise will support patients through critical recovery journeys in both inpatient and outpatient care.
What You'll Do
Conduct Patient Assessments
  • Evaluate patients' physical status and develop personalized treatment plans for a range of conditions-from post-surgical rehab to injury recovery and chronic illness support.
Execute Rehabilitation Techniques
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy interventions including mobility training, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and use of specialized rehab equipment.
Track Patient Improvement
  • Monitor patient outcomes, document progress, and adapt treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal recovery goals.
Collaborate Across Disciplines
  • Partner with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other allied health professionals to deliver holistic, hospital-based care that promotes safe discharge planning and long-term recovery.
Guide and Educate
  • Instruct patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, mobility strategies, and post-discharge care to maintain progress and avoid re-injury.
Promote Functional Wellness
  • Encourage early mobility, fall prevention, and long-term physical activity strategies for sustained health and independence.
Qualifications
Education:
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
Licensure & Certification:
  • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license in Texas
  • Specialty certifications (e.g., geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics) are a plus
Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and adaptability
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
