Litigation Paralegal

What You'll Do:
- Support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from case inception through post-trial and appeal proceedings.
- Conduct legal and factual research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.
- Manage complex discovery processes, including review and production of electronically stored information (ESI).
- Coordinate and support depositions, including preparation of expert materials.
- Draft pleadings, motions, notices, and assist in preparing law and motion filings.
- Perform cite-checking, proofreading, and formatting of legal documents.
- Prepare trial materials including trial notebooks, exhibits, witness schedules, and manage logistics.
- Assist with post-trial filings and appeals.
- Coordinate and manage document review platforms such as Relativity, Concordance, or LAW.
- Electronically file pleadings through CM/ECF (federal) and the Florida Courts e-Filing Portal (statewide).
- Track daily billable time and support other litigation department initiatives as needed.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm environment.
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification required.
- Expertise in federal and state court procedural and evidentiary rules.
- Familiarity with bankruptcy and bankruptcy litigation is a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in:
- Legal Software: MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Relativity, Concordance, LAW, Best Case
- Document Management Systems: iManage (preferred)
- E-Filing Systems: CM/ECF (Federal) and Florida Court e-Filing Portal (Statewide)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, highly professional, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
