What You'll Do
- Build Robust Applications : Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions using VB.NET, MS SQL, and Crystal Reports
- Transform Requirements : Translate application requirements, backlogs, and use cases into clean, functional code
- Ensure Quality Excellence : Deliver high-performance, responsive applications with exceptional code quality
- Collaborate Across Teams : Work with team members from various departments to achieve project goals and deliver results
- Master the Full Lifecycle : Participate in complete software development processes including analysis, design, coding, testing, and ongoing support
- Write Clean Code : Develop reusable, well-documented code that follows industry best practices
- Support Testing Initiatives : Contribute to unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing processes
- Influence Standards : Provide valuable input on coding standards and development best practices
- VB.NET Expertise : Multiple years of hands-on experience developing applications with VB.NET
- Database Proficiency : Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server including database design and optimization
- Reporting Skills : High-level proficiency with Crystal Reports for creating comprehensive business reports
- Development Foundation : Solid understanding of application architecture and design documentation
- Team Collaboration : Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in team environments
- Version Control : Familiarity with Git, TFS, Subversion, or other version control systems
- Web Development : Experience with APIs, web development, and reporting tools
- Modern Frameworks : Knowledge of .NET MVC, Bootstrap, and WordPress for public web work
- Additional Languages : Experience with C# is advantageous
