About The Role
The Encompass Support Technician provides technical and functional support for the Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS), Blend, and Loan Originator Networks (LON) point-of-sale (POS) platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring seamless operation, integration, and user satisfaction across all three systems, serving as the primary point of contact for system users including loan officers, processors, and other mortgage staff.
Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Observable display of a sense of urgency in the execution of duties
  • User Support: Deliver prompt and effective support for Encompass LOS, Blend POS, and LON POS platforms, addressing user inquiries, technical issues, and workflow questions across the mortgage lifecycle.
  • Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve application errors, workflow disruptions, and integration problems between POS and LOS systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.
  • Configuration & Customization: Interface with Mortgage Technology team to facilitate configuration, customization, and optimization of workflows, fields, and templates within Encompass, Blend, and LON platforms to meet business needs.
  • Regular on-site attendance

Qualifications
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years supporting Encompass LOS in a mortgage banking environment.
    • Experience supporting Blend and/or LON POS platforms preferred.
    • Strong understanding of mortgage origination processes and compliance.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with Encompass administration, Blend and LON configuration, and troubleshooting.
    • Understanding of LOS-POS integration and data workflows.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with reporting tools is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Encompass Administrator Certification or relevant certifications in Blend/LON.
    • Experience with LOS-POS integration projects.
    • Previous help desk or application support experience within the mortgage industry.
