Job Title: Senior QA Engineer - Network Layer (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: On-site in Doral, FL (Minimum 3 days/week: Tuesday-Thursday)

  • One QA Engineer position (newly created)
    • Main responsibilities: Oversee network-layer QA for dry docks, leveraging automation scripts, checklist compliance, and standards verification.
    • This person will operate mainly on the network layer rather than application development.
    • Strong automation, network, and security experience require
    • The position will be on-site in Doral (minimum three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), moving from contract to full-time upon conversion
    • Industry cruise line experience is a plus but not mandatory
    • Contract to hire
    • Senior resource as this will be the sole QA engineer

Overview:
Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our team in a newly created role focused on network-layer quality assurance . This individual will play a critical role in overseeing QA efforts during dry dock operations, ensuring compliance with internal checklists, automation standards, and network security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage QA processes specifically at the network layer rather than within application development.
  • Execute and maintain automation scripts to verify network infrastructure integrity and standards compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure and operations teams to monitor and ensure network readiness during dry docks.
  • Perform checklist-based verification and ensure alignment with Carnival's QA standards.
  • Serve as the sole QA Engineer on the team, requiring independence and senior-level expertise.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in network QA , with a strong background in automation and security .
  • bility to work independently and take ownership of the entire QA process.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Doral, FL at least three days a week (Tues-Thurs).
  • Experience in the cruise line or travel industry is a plus, but not required.
