Required: • Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in

Charleston, WV

(required); • Experience programming in IBM Mainframe, and designing and maintaining enterprise-level COBOL/CICS/DB2 environments (5+ years); • Experience programming with JCL in an enterprise mainframe environment (5+ years); • Experience programming in the WV Drivers enterprise mainframe database analysis and design, and experience working in a regulated environment at either the federal or state level (3+ years); • Experience using Computer Associates DB2/IBM tools, specifically RC/Update and PRF (3+ years) • Experience working with the federal and/or state legal requirements for Commercial Driver Licensing in West Virginia (1+ year) • Experience working with applications from the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) that interface with the WV Drivers' System. These applications include the Commercial Driver's Licensing Information System (CDLIS), the Problem Driver Pointer System (PDPS), the Social Security Online Verification and Unified Network Interface, and knowledge of the State-to-State system with AAMVA.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to the following: • Create and implement modifications to the Client's DMV Drivers' License System to meet AAMVA CDLIS Modernization federal requirements, which allows the Client DMV to create a clean CDL file • Enhance the DMV Driver License system to incorporate new ACD codes. • Enhance the DMV Drivers' License System to satisfy FMCSA requirements for interfacing with the Client's Court System. This ensures that convictions involving a Commercial Driver License holder are added to the driver's record within 10 days of the conviction date, as required by federal law. • Perform enhancements to the DMV Drivers' License System as needed to establish an interface with all DMV systems. • Enhance the current DMV Drivers' License System to ensure compliance with changes in federal and state laws • Provide daily operational support, including telephone support for end-users, attending meetings, developing and conducting training, and troubleshooting problems as they arise. • Develop code to programmatically meet mandates from federal and state regulatory authorities, which involves system design, documentation, meetings with agency personnel, system testing, and training.
