Position: APIgee Lead developer Contract Implementation partner: Job Description: As an Apigee Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing API proxies using Googles Apigee platform (Edge or X). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and high-performing API solutions that integrate seamlessly across enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop API proxies and policies using Apigee. Implement reusable shared flows for security, transformation, logging, and error handling Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate APIs with enterprise applications. Monitor and enhance API performance, security, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues across environments. Create and maintain API documentation and developer support materials Manage the full lifecycle of APIs including versioning, deprecation, and retirement. Utilize analytics to generate actionable insights and optimize API usage Required Qualifications- 10+ years of experience in API development and management, preferably with Apigee Edge or ApigeeX Proficiency in RESTful and SOAP web services. Strong understanding of API security protocols (OAuth, JWT, TLS). Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control systems like Bitbucket Familiarity with testing tools such as Postman and monitoring tools like Sumologic.
