Job Summary
Skilled Laborer is responsible for providing physical labor support during all phases of construction and production on line.
Essential Functions
Follow project instructions from Line Supervisor Consult with production plans and blue prints Use construction tools and equipment to complete daily tasks Follow all health and safety regulations when operating equipment Ensure regulated ear plugs, gloves and safety glasses are worn Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Minimum Qualifications
Properly trained on the operation and safety aspect of electric drills, power tools, air compressor tools, nail gun etc. Ability and knowledge of floor deck, framing, back paneling and hanging doors Ability to read blue prints Experience in a construction and/or commercial manufacturing environment Be able to move to different departments when needed. Physical Demands
Ability to lift, move or handle parts weighing up to 25 pounds on a consistent basis Ability to lift, move or handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time Ability to climb up and down a 4ft ladder 1st shift hours $20.00/hr
