Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Physician in Bad Axe, MI

This is your opportunity to step into an established OB/GYN practice with an existing patient base as a retiring provider hands over the reins. Enjoy a comprehensive employed practice model with work-life balance in a community that values healthcare. Responsibilities:
* Provide care in a clinic setting with 1 MD, 1 NP (3 days per week), and a dedicated support staff including 2 full-time and 1 part-time medical assistants. * Perform approximately 460 gynecological procedures annually. * Manage a patient volume of 30-40 per day (both inpatient and outpatient). * Maintain work-life balance with a dedicated surgery day. * Utilize on-site ultrasound, NST, IUI, and phlebotomy services. * Collaborate with another OB/GYN and a Nurse Practitioner in a collegial environment. * Participate in hospital call (24/7); only required on Saturdays and Sundays, totaling 7 days/month. * No electronic medical record system in the clinic, allowing for traditional paper charting. * Open to J1 visa candidates; unable to accept H1B candidates. * Locums not accepted for this position.
Qualifications:
* Board Eligible or Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED). * Michigan Medical License (or in process) (REQUIRED). * DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED). * BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) (REQUIRED).
License and Certification Requirements:
* Board Certification or Eligibility in OB/GYN. * Valid Michigan Medical License. * Current DEA certificate or willingness to apply. * BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
