The Long Weekend - New Bar Opening! - Bartender
The Long Weekend is a premium cocktail bar in a historic 1920s bank building at Columbus and Broadway in North Beach, San Francisco, with a rotating cultural theme every nine months-beginning with "Long Weekend Havana." The bar spans three levels, including a traditional Cuban-style main bar, mezzanines with lounge space, and an underground vault bar called "La Bveda" offering a modern take on Havana nightlife. We are looking for persons who have experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries or those looking to and are eager to learn. The Long Weekend is a new opening in the North Beach neighborhood in San Francisco coming in September 2025. So, if you have experience opening a new location or like the challenge of making a great first impression, then a position at the Long Weekend may be right for you. Responsibilities
•Prep, setup, and prepare the bar for daily service •Prioritize guest orders and strive to deliver drinks promptly and efficiently •Take and return a variety of payment types with accuracy •Assist in cleaning and sanitizing, as necessary •Keep work relationships professional and courteous
Qualifications
•Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in busy hotel, restaurant or nightclub •Knowledge of various drink building techniques and styles •Demonstrate an ability to maintain strong coworker relationships •Flexible evening availability •Able to take direction and follow-through on all reasonable requests from managers •Able to stand 8-10 hours •Demonstrate attention to detail
