MUST HAVE ERP EXPERIENCE Job Description

The Inventory Clerk plays a critical role in supporting the Manufacturing department by ensuring that inventory supplies are maintained at optimal levels to keep operations running smoothly. This position is essential for meeting product delivery schedules and requires meticulous attention to detail to manage inventory effectively. Responsibilities

Maintain accuracy of physical inventory for raw materials, hardware, semi-finished, and finished goods. Ensure traceability at the bin level and through the ERP system. Maintain proper location and identification of inventory items. Ensure compliance with departmental standard operating procedures. Reconcile daily physical inventory counts with the ERP system and prepare inventory level reports. Make adjustments to physical inventory and calculated inventory; track products and materials using computerized inventory control procedures. Maintain files of inventory-related documentation and enter data into MRP/ERP systems. Perform restocking processes and material movement within manufacturing areas and warehouse as required. Ensure timely closure of job order requests. Carry out day-to-day work following the department's continuous improvement plan. Visually examine stock to verify conformance to specifications. Compile reports on inventory counts and stock levels. Essential Skills

Proficiency in Inventory Management. Prior ERP experience, particularly with PLEX, and strong computer skills. Strong knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office applications. Highly dependable and punctual, as the role involves working closely with the manufacturing team. Minimum of 3 years of experience in aerospace or manufacturing warehouse environments. Knowledge of aerospace specifications, quality codes, and standards. Experience in an AS9100 environment for at least 2 years. High school diploma or GED. Forklift certification and ability to lift 20-30 lbs unassisted. Why Work Here?

The work environment is a large, non-union manufacturing facility with 25-27 machinists working across three shifts in the machine shop. The facility specializes in designing and manufacturing precision metallic tubular parts and assemblies for commercial aircraft, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Fe Springs, California. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
