General Overview
The
IT Project Manager
is a
highly motivated and results-oriented
professional who understands how to lead and coordinate complex, multi-faceted IT projects. The role requires working effectively in
cross-functional teams , ensuring successful project execution from initiation through completion.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct regular and effective management and on-site meetings for construction-related IT projects. Work collaboratively in cross-functional teams on IT projects, including SAP, SFC integrations, new production line builds, and other IT solutions. Accept, analyze, and incorporate customer requirements into project planning and execution. Create and manage the full lifecycle of IT and sustaining projects. Oversee and sustain smooth project implementation and delivery. Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones and updating statuses. Maintain proactive and continuous communication with users and project team members throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure that the implemented solution or service meets user requirements and expectations. Provide users with detailed feedback on root causes when issues arise. Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks. Resolve issues and coordinate necessary resources to overcome project obstacles. Escalate major issues or roadblocks to senior management as needed during the project lifecycle.
Requirements Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 10+ experience Technical & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent customer support and service orientation. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams, including Business, Manufacturing, R&D, IT, Developers, and DBAs. Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with sound judgment under pressure. Proven ability to manage project scope, ensuring all changes are documented and approved using change request forms. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to define project specifics, develop plans, and adhere to schedules. Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
