Lead Data Modeler
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Data Modeler to join Incedo data management team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level data models, ensuring data consistency, and enabling effective analytics, reporting, and application development across the organization. Key Responsibilities
Data Model Design: Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise analytics, reporting, and application needs. Data Asset Documentation: Identify, profile, and document datasets, metadata, and data lineage in the enterprise data catalog. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, data engineers, and application developers to align data models with business requirements and technical standards. Review and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Ensure data modeling best practices, standards, and governance policies are consistently applied. Participate in data architecture and governance discussions, contributing to enterprise data strategy. Technology & Tools
Collibra for data cataloging, metadata management, and lineage documentation. Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Familiarity with data modeling tools such as Erwin, ER/Studio, or similar. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in data modeling, with at least 3 years in a lead role. Strong expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Hands-on experience with Collibra and enterprise metadata management. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles. Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Preferred Skills
Experience with big data platforms and streaming technologies. Knowledge of financial services or capital markets domain.
