This position can be located at any Seacoast Bank office within the state of FL. *This is a temporary position, and hours may vary based on business needs. There is no guaranteed minimum. *This position is not eligible for benefits. JOB SUMMARY:
The Reconciliation Analyst performs reconciliation of deposit, loan, payments, assets, liabilities, income, and expense accounts to the general ledger. This includes accounts such as Loan Control, Loans in Process, Loan Payments in Process, investor accounts, disbursement accounts, Bank operating checking accounts, Deposit Control, CD Control, Teller Cash, and ATM reconciliation. The accounts are managed using Prologue, Frontier, FIS IBS Core, reports, and spreadsheets. The reconciliation process involves two steps: transaction matching and subsystem-to-GL balance matching. Customized reports facilitate this process. The analyst ensures timely and accurate completion of reconciliations, reports outages or delays, and investigates and clears reconciling items. QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 1-2 years of experience, preferably in banking, accounting, or treasury, with emphasis on loan accounting, financial controls, and systems. Knowledge of banking functions, operations, and reconciliation processes. Ability to analyze differences, investigate, and summarize reconciling items. Ability to work independently, handle sensitive information, meet deadlines, and communicate professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Flexible schedule, including availability during weekends and non-operational hours. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Reconcile and oversee balancing of accounts, research outages, and correct errors. Follow up on reconciling items, provide updates, and escalate as needed. Assist operations with outages and provide research support. Maintain documentation supporting files, reports, and data. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports and file Doc Stamp remittance. Organize account files and communicate changes to the team.
