Job Title: Special Event Bartender, On-Call
Department: Special Event
Reports to: Senior Manager of Special Events
Job Summary:
Part Time Special Event Bartender is part of the events team that services internal, public, and private events.
Major Functions: Maintain a working knowledge of the Museum's bar offerings including beer, wine, liquor and specialty cocktails. Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, mixers, and bitter to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and service bar. Serve wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks. Provide exceptional customer service and ensure excellent guest experiences at all events. Assist with bar set-up, stocking bars with beverages, glassware and supplies, preparing garnished etc. Assist with bar breakdown and end of night clean up. Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards; keeping bar and work areas clean and organized. Practice and observe all safety rules, procedures, and compliance with beverage regulations. Assist co-workers and service personnel in any duties as requested. Process transaction on registers during credit card bars. Other duties as assigned Requirements
Must have bartending experience Must be at least 18 years old Customer service experience Tips or serve safe certification Purchase of a DeKalb County Pour Permit Flexible schedule, must be able to work Friday and Saturday nights
