Summary: We're seeking a designer equally strong across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping. Your responsibility in this role is to craft elegant and simple interfaces that solve complex interaction problems. You'll be part of a highly collaborative and supportive user experience team who work across global buyer and seller experience focused products. An understanding of how to operate as a designer in a fast paced, regionally distributed, highly cross-functional environment is critical for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Create outstanding, user-centered designs incorporating business requirements, product requirements, customer research insights, and your design intuition Develop conceptual diagrams, wireframes, visual mockups and prototypes Leverage eBay's existing design system into your solutions while also being able to thoughtfully contribute new additions to it Participate in user research, testing, and product discovery Work with product managers and cross functional partners to influence product strategy and create beautiful, scalable framework design solutions that delight our customers Drive product discovery through workshops and design sprint facilitation
Requirements:
10+ years of professional experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design Nice to have: BS Degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent Ability to prepare effective presentations, present multiple design directions and tradeoffs, with content appropriately tailored to the audience Expert level skills in design and prototyping with Figma Expert level skills designing across multiple devices across mobile and desktop Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$65.00 - $70.00/hr.
Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
