For the 2025–2026 school year, we’re seeking a dedicated School Social Worker to provide onsite support to preschool and elementary students (Pre-K and K–5) in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. This role covers two consecutive FMLA opportunities within the same district. In the first half of the year, you’ll support an elementary school servicing students in grades K–5. In the second half, you’ll transition to working with preschool (Pre-K) students. In both roles, you’ll collaborate with another social worker in the building and a multidisciplinary team to support the emotional, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students. Provide full-time school social work services to preschool and elementary students (Pre-K and K-5th grade), Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM. Conduct evaluations, develop individualized educational plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based interventions to address social-emotional developmental and behavioral needs. Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other related service providers to support young students’ social-emotional and behavioral skills across both classroom and individual settings. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders. Utilize IEP system for management and compliance. Participate in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training opportunities. Enjoy a dedicated office space for therapy sessions and planning. Pay & Benefits
Hourly Range: $45.00-$58.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications. Paid Time Off: 6 days per year, prorated based on your start date. Benefits:

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement Strong communication and collaboration skills.
