Dental Assistant with Periodontal/Oral Surgery Experience.

We are searching for a dental assistant who specializes in perio treatment or oral surgery and has a minimum of 5 years experience. Clinical Duties:

Assisting dentists involves preparing the operatory, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist during procedures. Patient Care:

Preparing patients for treatment, taking radiographs (X-rays and CT scans), and providing post-operative instructions. Infection Control:

Implementing and maintaining infection control protocols, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring a safe clinical environment. Equipment and Supply Management:

Maintaining dental equipment, keeping operatories stocked, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent low stock. Patient Education:

Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.

Competencies Expert in X-rays, CBCT/panoramic imaging, and patient charting. Demonstrates expert-level knowledge and skills to perform the duties of the position effectively. Detail-oriented. Provides a general knowledge base necessary to perform job duties effectively. Performs job duties with a positive attitude and a strong dedication to hard work. Provides support and collaboration when working with others to deliver the highest quality patient care. Problem solver skilled in critical thinking and delivering effective solutions. Proactive in identifying areas of opportunity and implementing appropriate adjustments. Exhibits professionalism through patience, effective communication skills, and excellent customer service.
