Your Role: Electrical Underground Superintendent Fountain Services is currently seeking a skilled and experienced

Electrical Underground Superintendent

to lead underground installation crews supporting our commercial and industrial projects in North and South Carolina. This role requires field leadership, hands-on capability, and technical expertise in underground utility work.

Key Responsibilities ● Lead and supervise underground electrical installation crews ● Interpret and execute tasks based on electrical drawings and survey data ● Plan layout and installation of same in accordance with job specifications ● Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects ● Test electrical systems and circuits using appropriate equipment and devices ● Conduct work in compliance with the

National Electrical Code (NEC) ● Maintain high safety standards and ensure adherence to protocols ● Communicate project goals, timelines, and expectations clearly to the crew ● Perform job planning and maintain strong organizational control ● Represent the company professionally on job sites and with clients ● Operate company vehicles safely; CDL preferred

Minimum Requirements

10+ years

of

commercial/industrial

electrical experience, with a focus on underground work as well as working with electrical

contractor/subcontractors

in a commercial or industrial construction environment 2+ years

of supervisory or crew leadership experience High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred); must meet company vehicle eligibility standards Must pass a mandatory drug screen and background check Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varied climate conditions Must be able to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding constrution environment

Preferred Qualifications Completion of an apprenticeship program or trade/technical school training Experience with ProCore and BlueBeam Relevant certifications or licenses Familiarity with geospatial layout tools and construction layout techniques Experience with concrete and general construction Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong multitasking skills and ability to meet tight deadlines

Physical Requirements Fountain follows the model of the

“working superintendent” —our field leaders are expected to work alongside their crews. Candidates must be able to: Lift 50+ pounds Work from ladders or scaffolding and perform overhead work Engage in repetitive reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending Work in varied climate conditions and physically demanding environments Maintain good balance, coordination, and stamina
