Summary of the Position:

This individual will be performing duties related to cleaning equipment and production environment. Will be assisting operators in cleaning specific machines/rooms as necessary and will assist leadership of specific department to maintain inventory of cleaning solutions and cleaning devices.

Roles and Responsibilities: Assist leadership of specific department to write appropriate procedures related to the Washroom. Clean equipment, parts of equipment and environment per written procedures and or verbal and written instructions by immediate supervisor or designee. Communicate with operators, subject manner experts, team leaders, QA employees and supervisors, discuss specific assignments and report progress related to them. Have clear understanding of specific assignments and sensitivity of equipment or parts equipment to avoid any damage of it. Participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects related to Washroom operation. Maintain Washroom in an organized and clean condition. Maintain inventory of cleaning solution and cleaning tools and devices and report to supervision or designee status of it. Cleaning walls, doors, racks and guard railings inside the Manufacturing area. Empty all production waste receptables as needed. Maintaining required logbooks in accordance with NMX guidelines and SOP’s Operators will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) but not limited to: hair nets, beard covers, face masks, respirators, uniforms, safety shoes, safety glasses etc. Perform other assigned duties and follow verbal and written instructions issued by supervisor or designee related to meeting company goals and objectives. May be exposed to raw materials and or finished goods derived from but not limited to: bovine, milk, soy, shellfish, pork, chicken, tuna and other allergen source. Regular attendance is required. Communicate effectively with your team, supervision and other departments within the organization and function within a team, promoting positive work environment. Requirements:

Minimum Requirements:

The Washroom Associate will have a working knowledge of cGMP (dietary supplement or pharmaceutical environment), should have experience, training, education or any combination of it related to cleaning equipment or and environment in dietary supplement, pharmaceutical or food industry. Ability to use basic cleaning devices and ability to learn advanced cleaning equipment. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all staff levels. Critical thinking skills to learn Nutramax procedures and predict whether proposed changes will be effective. Must be able to work independently and within team environment, according to specific written and verbal instructions, presented by supervisor or designee.

Education and Experience:

This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma. Basic knowledge of GMP regulations and experience in a cGMP environment is preferred but not necessary. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment including steel toed shoes. Must follow all appropriate written and verbal instructions and procedures. Position requires lifting, moving, cleaning of equipment and parts of equipment. Attention to details, multitasking and organizational skills are required. This position requires basic computer skills.
