is hiring on behalf of our client, a global chemical manufacturing company with operations in Rock Hill, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join a team focused on maintaining critical control systems.

Position Overview:

The I&E Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining instrument and electrical systems within all units of the plant. This position requires strong technical skills with a focus on instrumentation systems, particularly with Delta-V distributed control systems and Rosemount instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong instrumentation background with the ability to calibrate, test, and install various instruments.

Responsibilities: Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot instrument and electrical systems throughout the plant Perform loop checks and support capital projects when needed Conduct preventative maintenance according to plant procedures Fabricate, assemble, and install new or used process equipment as needed Maintain inventory of parts and supplies Perform configuration of various instruments utilizing Hart protocol Identify instrumentation and electrical needs, including design and installation Calibrate, test, troubleshoot, and install instrumentation and electrical equipment Work collaboratively with mechanical maintenance, reliability, and operations teams Support other maintenance activities as assigned

Qualifications: Technical or Vocational education in Instrumentation 7+ years of experience in instrumentation and electrical systems Direct plant experience in a chemical plant or similar manufacturing environment Knowledge of Rosemount instrumentation Experience with Delta-V distributed control systems Familiarity with PLC (Allen Bradley/PLC5) systems Knowledge of corrosive materials such as sulfuric acid or hydrochloric acid Ability to size and install rigid conduit Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Safety-oriented mindset and practices Willingness to work within a Maintenance Work Order Process Availability for call-ins and scheduled maintenance overtime when needed

Work Schedule & Physical Requirements: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Occasional overtime and on-call responsibilities Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds Capability to work in high/tight spaces Standing/walking for extended periods Bending/stooping/twisting/reaching
