The Role: The Chemist I is responsible for formulating and testing cleaning solutions, or the testing of raw materials designed for Household, Institutional, or Industrial markets. The role requires an understanding of product development and design principles, problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and innovative thinking. The candidate should be competent in experimental design and execution, data interpretation and analysis, and the use of analytical equipment. What You Will Do: Develop and evaluate cleaning solutions, and test raw materials used in formulations Design and execute experiments, collect and analyze data, and draw valid conclusions Evaluate literature and various sources of information for relevance, reliability, and credibility Interpret and analyze data, discerning patterns, trends, and insights Report technical data and information in a clear and concise manner Adhere to basic regulatory requirements and safety protocols related to chemical hazards Manage resources effectively to meet project objectives Support validation activities for production runs Provide technical assistance for product demonstrations and field testing Oversee projects to completion Manage individuals throughout projects, coordinating tasks, responsibilities, and communication Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. What You Will Bring: Solid understanding of relevant methodologies and practical experience in sustaining the effectiveness of existing products through continuous improvement and innovation Capable of analyzing complex issues, devising practical solutions, and efficiently implementing them Proficiency in mathematics, computer skills, and communication is essential B.S. degree in chemistry, biology, or chemical engineering 0-5 years of experience working in a lab formulating and testing cleaning solutions or raw materials designed for Household, Institutional, or Industrial markets

Compensation Range: $65,000 - $75,000 Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, location, and relevant education or training.
