We are currently searching for DOT inspection certified mechanics with 5+ year(s) of tank & trailer repair experience for our Joliet, IL location! Shift Hours:

Monday through Friday 7:00am- 3:30pm. Pay Range: $28.00 to $39.00 per hour, dependent on experience. (Skill-based pay rate reviews and potential increases every 6 months.)

Demonstrated skill in

most

of the following areas: The ability to diagnose failures and make repairs on mechanical, electrical or other various systems on a tank trailer. Tank service and repair Trailer suspension installation and repair Experience with air brake systems and repairs TIG & MIG aluminum, stainless or carbon welding experience (preferred) Ability to effectively and efficiently inspect tanks and trailers to align with DOT standards (HM183, hazmat) Must obtain a High School Diploma or GED Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds With assistance, occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Must be able to fit through a tank trailer manhole Must be able to work in confined spaces DCI Benefits: Medical, dental and vision insurance 401(k) with generous employer match Paid time off, including 10 paid holidays Optional health savings account & flexible spending account Life insurance Employee assistance program Parental leave Referral program Tuition reimbursement Tool purchase program Effective and proven safety program Resources to become a national board ASME certified welder
