$40$50 per session, based on experience and patient volume Job Summary: Suvarna Chiropractic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Acupuncturist to join our integrative healthcare team immediately. The Acupuncturist will deliver high-quality acupuncture treatments to support pain management, stress relief, and holistic wellness. This role involves creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with chiropractors and massage therapists, and providing patient-centered care in a dynamic, supportive environment. The ideal candidate is licensed, compassionate, and proficient in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) or Western acupuncture techniques. Key Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient consultations, including medical history reviews, physical assessments (e.g., pulse and tongue diagnosis), and symptom evaluation to identify energy imbalances. Develop and execute personalized acupuncture treatment plans to address conditions such as chronic pain, stress, anxiety, or digestive issues. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile, hair-thin needles to stimulate meridian points and promote natural healing. Utilize complementary therapies (e.g., moxibustion, cupping, acupressure, or electro-acupuncture) as appropriate to enhance outcomes. Collaborate with chiropractors, massage therapists, and other staff to provide integrative care aligned with the clinics holistic approach. Educate patients on treatment plans, diagnoses, and lifestyle changes to support long-term wellness. Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, session notes, and progress updates. Adhere to Illinois state regulations, including maintaining a valid acupuncture license and following safety protocols for needle use and disposal. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on follow-up assessments. Stay current with advancements in acupuncture and integrative medicine through continuing education. Qualifications: Active Illinois acupuncture license or National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certification. Completion of an accredited acupuncture program (Masters degree or equivalent in TCM or related field preferred). Proficiency in acupuncture techniques and understanding of TCM principles, meridians, and energy flow (Qi). Experience with complementary therapies (e.g., cupping, moxibustion) is a plus. Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail in patient assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build patient trust and educate effectively. Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care. Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting. Basic administrative skills for managing records and scheduling. Preferred Skills: Experience in a chiropractic or integrative medicine practice. Knowledge of Western medical terminology to facilitate collaboration with other providers. Expertise in pain management techniques, particularly as an alternative to pharmaceutical interventions.
