We're looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our team and contribute to our sales success. In this role, you'll be a vital link between our customers and our extensive product offerings, handling inquiries, providing quotes, and processing orders. Our Inside Sales Reps work several different angles within the company. They handle answering incoming phone and email inquiries, researching products, quoting, and turning quotes into sales. They will assist outside sales reps with quoting and ordering parts, and they will make outbound calls to previous customers for potential follow-up parts business. They are also responsible for maintaining excellent working relationships with our vendor and partner network to meet company and customer needs. As an Inside Sales Representative, you'll wear many hats, contributing directly to our sales success. Your responsibilities will include: Handling Customer Inquiries:
Be the first point of contact for customers, responding promptly and professionally to all incoming phone and email inquiries. Quoting and Order Processing:
Research and verify product pricing, accurately apply discounts, and provide detailed quotes with clear delivery terms. You'll also be responsible for processing orders efficiently. Purchasing and Procurement Support:
Assist with researching and procuring necessary parts and materials to meet customer and company demands. Parts Ordering and Management:
Manage the ordering and tracking of parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory. Sales Support:
Work closely with our outside sales representatives, assisting them with quoting and ordering parts to ensure a seamless sales process. Outbound Communication:
Proactively reach out to existing and past customers to generate potential follow-up parts business. Product Knowledge:
Develop a strong understanding of our products to effectively determine customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions, including providing technical sales information. Internal Collaboration:
Coordinate with various internal divisions to order parts for new equipment builds. Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain excellent communication with customers, following up on outstanding quotes and fostering strong relationships. What We're Looking For: We're seeking a driven individual with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction. Ideally, you'll have: 1-3 years of sales experience , with a preference for experience in an
industrial parts or materials environment . The ability to quickly
learn and understand technical product specifications and pricing . Experience with
speed and accuracy when entering sales orders
into internal systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Strong
problem-solving skills
and a genuine
customer-focused approach . The ability to
accurately calculate discounts and percentages . A
self-motivated and detail-oriented
work ethic. Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience with product pricing and quoting. Ability to learn and understand the pricing structures of parts and equipment.
