Summary of Position: Skilled trade person capable of maintaining and repairing injection molds and maintenance and repair of stamping dies and fixture building. Duties: Perform maintenance on injection molds Identify and implement proactive systems to achieve reduction in injection molding defects and productivity concerns Support design engineering to evaluate feasibility and execution of tooling changes Provide technical guidance to Tool Room Technicians Assist with budgets for tool room Follow and maintain MP2 schedules Manufacture fixtures and gages Ensure accurate documentation of work performed and equipment status Follow company and department safety rules and practices Other duties as assigned Comply with QMS and EMS procedures and work instructions as they relate to the job, including but not limited to recycling and proper handling of waste and oil. Qualifications: Experience in injection mold tooling manufacturing Experience in the manufacture of fixtures and gages from prints Ability to read prints and 3D data Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to use arc welder, surface grinder, lathe, mill, acetylene torch, soldering iron What Can We Offer You for All Your Hard work?
