School Social Worker (2 Positions Available)
Location: High School | Grades 9–12, Richton Park, IL Position Type: Full-Time (35 hours/week) | Onsite Contract Dates: August 7, 2025 – May 22, 2026 Work Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM Salary Range: $56,000 – $70,000 About the Role:
AnthroMed Education is seeking two full-time School Social Workers to join a college-preparatory charter high school serving over 500 students in a dynamic and student-centered environment. These roles are available to help support a growing caseload of students with IEPs and 504s, as well as lead proactive and responsive crisis intervention throughout the school. Key Responsibilities:
Support a caseload of approximately 60 students with 504s and IEPs (to be split between 2 staff) Provide direct and group services aligned with IEP/504 goals Lead or participate in crisis response and behavioral support across the school Collaborate with staff, administration, and families to support students’ emotional and academic well-being Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP/504 meetings Serve as a resource and advocate for students navigating mental health, behavior, and access to services
Qualifications:
PEL (Professional Educator License) with a school social work endorsement required Strong preference for candidates with prior school-based social work experience, especially in high school settings Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Crisis management experience is highly valued
