HVAC Estimator . You'll play a critical role in shaping competitive bids and winning projects that fuel our growth.
What You'll Do As our HVAC Estimator, you'll support the business development team by analyzing drawings, specs, and vendor quotes to prepare competitive and accurate cost estimates. This role collaborates with project managers, engineers, and procurement to align pricing strategies with field execution. Analyze blueprints, specifications, and addenda to assess project scope Perform detailed take-offs for ductwork, piping, controls, and equipment Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes Prepare bid proposals aligned with timelines and client requirements Maintain historical cost data and estimating templates Support pre-bid meetings, site walks, and project strategy sessions Leverage digital tools such as Bluebeam, Trimble, and Sage Estimating What You Bring 3+ years of HVAC or mechanical estimating experience Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and construction processes Proficiency with estimating software and digital take-off tools Excellent attention to detail, math skills, and organization Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners Bonus Points For: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering Experience with Sage 100 Contractor, AutoCAD, or Revit Exposure to LEED or energy-efficient system design Position Details Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000 annually (based on experience) Bonus Eligible: Based on department KPIs and bid performance Benefits:
