If you are excited about a role but your experience doesn’t seem to align perfectly with every element of the job description, we encourage you to apply. You may be just the right candidate for this, or one of our many other roles. Hi, my name is Kate, and I am a mental health professional in South Lake Tahoe, California. Working with custody officers at the jail has been great, and it is fun to be able to work as part of a team at the jail. When patients come to the jail, their lives are often in a state of crisis, and with support, many are able to change that crisis into an opportunity. Our inmate patients have kids, partners, and are part of the community, so I feel that when I'm helping to improve the mental health of patients at the jail, I'm not only helping the patient get through a hard time in life, but I'm also helping our community. I have also had the opportunity to provide supervision to therapists at other jail sites and to participate in quality improvement projects. I've found that there are a lot of opportunities for growth and promotion here at Wellpath with truly the best and most supportive mental health management. I feel proud to work here, because I get to be a part of an excellent bunch of professionals doing important work. 00:00 K Kate Mental Health Professional We encourage you to apply!
