Neurology (PA/NP) - Inpatient Opportunity
We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) Neurology APP with an active Illinois (IL) license to join our inpatient neurology team for an ongoing, no-call opportunity, starting as soon as possible. This is an integral role focusing on delivering high-quality care across a continuum of neurological services.
Opportunity Highlights- Specialty: Neurology
- Coverage Type: Clinic Only
- Schedule: You will work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM , Monday through Friday. No call is required.
- Responsibilities:
- Inpatient rounding on neurology patients.
- Performing new patient consults.
- Managing stroke alerts and responding to acute ED and transfer evaluations.
- Pre- and post-operative management of endovascular cases.
- Intermittent clinic in-basket management.
- Collaborating with attending neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- EMR System: We utilize Epic for our electronic medical records.
- Minimum Board Certification: Board Eligible (BE) or Board Certified (BC) in a relevant specialty.
- Licensure: You must have an active Illinois (IL) license .
- Experience: A strong background in stroke and general neurology is required.
