Facility:
This 170-bed facility is located on the south side of Indianapolis, in Greenwood. It features 24 ICU beds and provides 24/7 internal medicine hospitalist service. The emergency department is staffed with board-certified emergency medicine physicians, ensuring high-quality patient care throughout the facility.
Opportunity: ACLS-BLS - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology
This is a General GI Hospitalist Model with 7-day coverage, ideally seeking one provider to work week on/week off at the hospital's south campus.
Job Details:
- Bread and butter GI practice (no EUS/ERCP required)
- Maximum of 15 patient encounters per shift
- Responsibilities include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices
- PEG procedures required
- Esophageal dilatation/manometry and interpretation skills needed
- Small bowel biopsy procedures
- Lower GI endoscopy including flexible sigmoidoscopy
- Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision
- Management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube
- Long-term opportunity starting December 1, 2025
