We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Integration Manager to join our team at DSTNC. The ideal candidate will have an intermediate background in RESTful API and API management, with experience reading and troubleshooting in Python, JavaScript, and related technologies. This position involves maintaining APIs for our products and services.

The E-Commerce Integration Manager will also provide technical and business analysis to ensure the APIs deliver the desired results. The candidate should understand API design principles, including REST, JSON, and OAuth, and be comfortable working with databases and web technologies. Responsibilities :

1. Manage and troubleshoot APIs that provide access to DSTNC's core data retrieval and service offerings.
2. Create detailed API documentation for third-party developers.
3. Develop and maintain API client libraries for ease of use.
4. Track API performance metrics and work to improve stability, scalability, and availability.
5. Monitor API usage to identify trends and customer needs.
6. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to develop solutions.
7. Manage API-related projects from inception to completion.
8. Work with vendors to integrate their systems with ours.
9. Gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure smooth integration.
10. Support and resolve integration issues.
11. Handle payment-related errors, including transaction processing, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliation.
12. Implement error-handling mechanisms and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements :

1. 5+ years managing and maintaining APIs, including RESTful APIs.
2. Proven experience managing web services.
3. Experience with Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, or similar e-commerce platforms.
4. Experience integrating APIs with payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, or Braintree.
5. Understanding of secure payment transaction processing.
6. Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP, XML/JSON, security, authentication).
7. Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
8. Experience collaborating with front-end developers and designers.
9. Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
10. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
11. Self-motivated and independent work capability.
12. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Java, Ruby, etc.).
13. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
