Job Summary:
Amazon is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for their Alexa+ team to assist third-party developers in integrating their products with Alexa+. This role involves architecting innovative AI experiences, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with strategic partners to maximize adoption of Alexa+ technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and prototype generative AI applications leveraging Alexa+ capabilities
• Design and optimize LLM prompts to enhance Alexa+'s conversational intelligence, latency and accuracy
• Create technical solutions that integrate third-party services with Alexa+
• Lead architectural discussions with developers and strategic partners to maximize Alexa+ adoption
• Deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase the transformative potential of Alexa+ technologies
• Drive high-impact partner engagements that contribute significantly to business outcomes
• Provide thought leadership on Alexa+ integration patterns and reference architectures
• Shape product roadmaps by translating industry trends and partner needs into platform enhancements
• Identify emerging partnership opportunities alongside business development teams
• Engage in deep, technical discussions to design solutions, solve problems, and coordinate Alexa+ feature implementations to raise the bar on the customer experience
• Act as voice of the developer with domain, product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps using data-driven analysis, and a working backwards mindset
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
• Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering for large language models
• Technical undergraduate degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or equivalent experience
Preferred:
• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience with AWS technologies
• Experience building prototypes and proof-of-concepts with leading AI frameworks and platforms
• Background in voice technology and conversational AI
