Glue is a well-funded startup working on the next generation of work communication tools. We believe that today’s work chat is noisy, unstructured, and not designed for productivity. We’re drawing from decades of communication innovation in structured notes, email, groups, and real-time messaging to create a tool that gets out of the way and lets teams exchange information and make decisions in a more natural way.
As our Growth Marketing Manager, you’ll own and scale the full-funnel marketing engine that drives user acquisition, engagement, and retention. You’ll:
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies—spanning paid ads, content marketing, SEO, social media, email, and lifecycle campaigns—to increase brand awareness and drive qualified sign-ups.
- Build, maintain, and optimize our marketing tech stack (e.g., attribution tools, CRM, lead-enrichment, and automation platforms) to ensure clean data, accurate reporting, and rapid experimentation.
- Partner closely with Product and Design to align go-to-market plans with feature launches, release notes, and user communications—ensuring we tell a cohesive story at every touchpoint.
- Design and run high-velocity growth experiments, track metrics like CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and trial-to-paid velocity, then iterate quickly to maximize ROI.
- Establish repeatable processes for demand generation, nurture sequences, and performance analysis as we scale from early adopters to a broader enterprise market.
About You
- A scrappy, hands-on marketer who thrives in fast-moving startups and enjoys rolling up your sleeves to build from zero.
- Data-driven thinker: you frame hypotheses, instrument tests, and draw actionable insights from metrics.
- Collaborative partner: you’re comfortable working across Product, Design, Sales, and Engineering to deliver coordinated campaigns.
- Self-starter mentality: you prioritize ruthlessly, manage multiple channels, and own projects end-to-end without heavy oversight.
- Excellent communicator who can translate complex ideas into clear messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
What Will Help You Succeed
- 4+ years of hands-on growth or performance marketing experience in an early-stage, tech-focused startup.
- Deep familiarity across digital channels: paid search/social (Google Ads, LinkedIn, X), email automation, SEO tools, content strategy, and ABM tactics.
- Proven track record optimizing a marketing stack (HubSpot, Clay, Segment, or equivalents) to improve attribution, lead quality, and funnel velocity.
- Strong analytical chops: comfort querying data, building dashboards, and interpreting CAC, LTV, conversion curves, and other KPIs.
- Experience running rapid marketing experiments—A/B tests, landing-page optimizations, drip campaigns—and iterating based on results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent practical experience; bonus if you’ve dipped into RevOps or lifecycle marketing.
Compensation and Benefits
- The pay range of base compensation for this role is typically $160,000 - $180,000.
- Flexible vacation policy—we’re moving quickly but want a sustainable culture.
- This role will work out of our lovely San Francisco office.
