We primarily focus on growth in Engineering Research & Development services in the Semiconductor space, along with supporting areas in IT Infrastructure & Application development services, Digital Process Operations, and HCL Software portfolio.

Job Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience selling into the Semiconductor industry, with at least 4+ years of hunting experience.
  • Deep customer relationships at mid to executive levels.
  • Strong understanding of the Hi-Tech & Consumer Electronics ecosystem, buying/selling patterns, client dynamics, and the competitive landscape.
  • Experience selling a broad range of software services, including Engineering Services, IT Applications, Infrastructure, and BPO.
  • Proven track record of closing medium to large, multi-year integrated deals.

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

  • Develop Business Strategies: Collaborate with delivery and sales support to develop offerings and propositions for each customer, focusing on key areas and aligning with client roadmaps. Prepare quarterly forecasts and business plans. Conduct workshops and business reviews to address client challenges.
  • Market Key Areas: Focus on marketing HCL’s key services, especially VLSI Services such as EDA, RTL, Verification, and Post Silicon Verification, engaging with foundries and related sectors.
  • Account Development: Open new accounts within targeted top industry clients, leveraging established networks to generate leads.
  • Conflict Management: Serve as the first escalation point for client issues, providing quick resolutions, and enhancing customer experience through effective grievance handling and communication.
  • Strategic Relationship Building: Engage senior executives to build long-term CXO relationships, develop strategic insights, and craft compelling narratives that align with business goals.
  • Proposal and Presentation Leadership: Lead customer proposals, solution defenses, and division-wide events, acting as an advisor on industry trends and best practices.
  • Growth and GTM Strategy: Drive vision for growth, manage product/solution portfolios, and identify innovative strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and promote business expansion.
  • Client Expectations and Decision Influence: Manage client expectations, influence decision-making at the executive level, and ensure mutual satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a technical or business field; an MBA or Master’s in a technical area from an accredited institution is highly desirable.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and oral, with experience developing proposals and business plans.
  • Willingness to travel over 50% of the time.
