Position Overview:
Insulet Corporation, maker of Omnipod, is the leader in tubeless insulin pumps. We are looking for software engineers to build our next generation of products. This fast-paced environment involves challenging problems that impact the lives of people living with diabetes!
As an iOS Software Engineer, you will work with a team of skilled developers building medical mobile applications and SDKs. You will collaborate with local and international teams to develop world-class medical device software. Candidates should have experience developing production-quality software.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deliver high-quality iOS Swift applications and SDKs
- Implement unit and UI tests for core functionality and workflows
- Work in co-located Scrum teams with developers, testers, product owners, and scrum masters
- Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to define new features
- Mentor and motivate developers to deliver high-quality code
- Ensure quality and consistency in software architecture and implementation
- Evaluate new technologies and develop prototypes
- Follow Insulet design assurance SOPs
- Provide support to internal and external team customers
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering
- 3+ years iOS software development experience
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of iOS architecture and design
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform, Bluetooth/BLE, Cloud technologies, APIs, REST, OAuth 2.0, JSON
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with FDA and HIPAA regulations is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional travel within US and globally
- Off-hour availability for critical issues
This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring at least three days per week on-site at an Insulet office. #LI-Hybrid
Additional Information:
The US base salary range is $118,700 - $171,050, determined by role, level, location, skills, experience, and education. Compensation details do not include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
