In this role, you'll provide both clinical and surgical support, caring for a diverse mix of orthopedic patients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting orthopedic exams for new and established patients
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans
  • Performing in-clinic procedures and pre-operative assessments
  • Educating patients on their diagnoses and surgical procedures
  • Assisting the orthopedic surgeon in the OR (hospital and ambulatory surgery center)
  • Participating in hospital rounds and post-operative care
  • Shared weekend on-call phone coverage (rotated among the PA group - no overnight hospital stays)

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • Licensed (or eligible) in the State of Texas
  • Strong interest in orthopedic medicine and surgical assistance
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence, curiosity, and eagerness to grow in a high-performing team
