Join Our Team - Make Every Ride and Outing Memorable!
About the Role:
Are you someone who enjoys being on the move, helping others, and making a real difference in people's lives? We're looking for a Van Driver to bring joy, energy, and safety to our residents' daily experiences - from medical appointments to engaging group outings. This role combines the responsibility of safe transportation with the heart of community-building.
You won't just be behind the wheel - you'll be part of the journey.
What You'll Do:
Drive with Purpose
  • Safely transport residents to doctor appointments, shopping trips, scenic rides, and group excursions.
  • Offer a helping hand as residents get on and off the van, ensuring a comfortable and secure experience.
  • Be present during all outings to assist and engage with residents - parking the van is the only time you'll be apart from the group.
Keep Us Rolling
  • Perform routine checks and report any vehicle maintenance needs to keep our vans in top condition.
  • Follow internal maintenance plans and warranty guidelines to ensure every ride is reliable and safe.
Create Joyful Moments
  • Assist in planning and bringing to life fun, meaningful activities and events.
  • Encourage resident participation and help ensure everyone feels included, supported, and cared for.
  • Team up with program staff to make every day more vibrant and engaging.
Be a Watchful and Caring Presence
  • Monitor residents during outings, keeping a close eye to ensure safety and comfort.
  • Notify staff promptly if any resident needs assistance or extra support.
What We're Looking For:
  • A warm, friendly personality and a love for helping others.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (CDL is a bonus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience with seniors or in a caregiving/recreational setting is a big plus.
  • Patience, flexibility, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Comfortable assisting residents with limited mobility.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional evenings or weekends for special events.

Why You'll Love It Here:
At our community, every ride is a chance to connect, and every outing is an opportunity to uplift. You'll be part of a compassionate, supportive team that values your contribution and celebrates your care. If you're someone who believes in kindness, safety, and having fun - we'd love to meet you.
